Tour Plan

01

Day 01: Drive to Murchison

Meet and greet at 7:30 in the morning at respective accommodations. Then begin the panoramic drive north-west, through the famous Luwero Triangle and Masindi Town, to arrive at Murchison Falls National Park in time to catch the ferry across to the northern bank of the Victoria Nile. After lunch, there is time to rest and relax by the huge bar/swimming pool until 4:45pm. At that time, you will depart for an evening game drive, enjoying the sunset as you return to the lodge. Enjoy the superb comfort and service of Paraa Safari Lodge.

02

Day 02: Murchison Falls

Depart on an early morning game drive via the Nyamsika Plateau, where you may see elephant, lion, buffalo, giraffe, hartebeests and many other animals. After lunch, enjoy a boat trip up the placid Victoria Nile to the base of Murchison Falls. En route, you will see hippos, crocodiles, waterbuck and a wide variety of birds including, if you are fortunate, the unusual shoebill stork. The boat stops just tens of meters from the "Devil’s Cauldron". Take pictures of the photogenic and majestic Murchison Falls. Return to the Paraa Safari Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

03

Day 03: Murchison/Kampala

Proceed to the top of the falls, your chance to see the beauty of the Nile perfected! Marvel at the immensely powerful falls, caused by the 50m-wide Nile being funneled into a 7m-wide cleft in the rocks. Dropping 43m with a thunderous roar, the falls create a beautiful rainbow and an impressive plume of spray-they were once described as the most spectacular thing to happen to the Nile along its 6700km length. After a picnic lunch, return to Kampala, arriving in the late afternoon.
